• Select 'Tools' and then 'Delete Browsing History'.
• Click 'Delete all', and then click 'Yes'.

To clean specific category of browsing history:
• Select 'Tools' and then 'Delete Browsing History'.
• Click 'Delete button' next to the information you want to delete, and then click 'Yes'.

• Open the "Content" tab.
• Click the "AutoComplete" button.
• Click the "Clear forms" button to erase search history.
• Click OK.

To clean visited sites history in Internet Explorer 7.0:
• Select "Tools"
• Select "Internet Options".
• Open the "General" tab.
• In "Browsing history" area click the "Delete" button.
• To delete list of web sites you have visited (delete Address bar history), click "Delete history" and then click Yes.
• Click Close and then click OK.

• Go to Tools and select Internet Options.
• Open "General tab", click "Clear history".

Note: in Internet Explorer even if you delete visited sites history manually, history file (index.dat file) stores information which can show where you have been online. History index.dat can't be deleted manually as it is used by Windows all the time. Using Clear All History you can clean or delete index.dat file depending on your needs

How to delete Temporary Internet Files in Internet Explorer 7.0
• Select "Tools"
• Select "Internet Options".
• Open the "General" tab.
• In "Browsing history" area click the "Delete" button.
• In "Delete browsing history" window click "Delete files"
•Then click Yes, and then click Close.
How to delete Temporary Internet Files in Internet Explorer 6.x
• Open the Tools menu.
• Select Internet Options.
• Open the General tab.
• In the "Temporary Internet files" area click the "Delete Files" button.
• Click OK in the "Delete Files" dialog box to erase delete Temporary Internet Files.
Note: in Internet Explorer even if you delete Temporary Interet Files manually, index.dat file stores information which can show where you have been online. This file can't be deleted manually as it is used by Windows all the time. In Clear All History "Delete Temporary Internet files" feature is combined with clearing the content of index.dat file.

How to clean cookies in Internet Explorer
To clean cookies in Internet Explorer 7.0:
• Select "Tools"
• Select "Internet Options".
• Open the "General" tab.
• In "Browsing history" area click the "Delete" button.
• In "Delete browsing history" window click "Delete cookies" button and then click "Yes".
• Click Close and then click OK.
To clean cookies in Internet Explorer 6.x:
• Select "Tools"
• Select "Internet Options".
• Open the "General" tab.
• Click the "Delete cookies" button.
• Click OK.
Note:
Every time a web site places a cookie on your PC, Internet Explorer and MSN Explorer insert an entry in the cookies index.dat file that associates a web page with a cookie file. And even if you clean cookies manually, cookies index.dat file stores Internet surfing information - URLs with date/time stamps and pointers to cookie files.
Cookies index.dat file can't be deleted manually as it is used by Windows all the time. Using Clear All History you can easily clean index.dat files content or delete index.dat files.
How to clean Internet Explorer Form AutoComplete
To clean Form AutoComplete in Internet Explorer 7.0:
• Select "Tools"
• Select "Internet Options".
• Open the "General" tab.
• In "Browsing history" area click the "Delete" button.
• In "Delete browsing history" window, to clear AutoComplete, click "Delete forms" button and then click "Yes".
To clean Form AutoComplete history in Internet Explorer 6.x:
• Select "Tools"
• Select "Internet Options".
• Open the "Content" tab.
• Click the "AutoComplete" button.
• Click the "Clear forms" button to clear all AutoComplete form data and/or click the "Clear Passwords" to clear restored passwords.
