Clean Clipboard
Clipboard is a temporary storage area used by Windows. Information (such as text, files, graphics, sound, or video) can be copied to the clipboard from one program or location and pasted elsewhere. Clipboard can only hold one piece of information at a time. Whenever something is copied to clipboard, it replaces whatever there was in clipboard before.
Why you should clean Clipboard
Clipboard is a temporary storage area for information that you have copied or moved from one place and plan to use somewhere else. You can select text or graphics and then use cut/copy commands to move your selection to clipboard, where it will be stored until you use paste command to insert it elsewhere. The clipboard is available in most Windows programs.
We often use copy and paste commands while working with logins, passwords, credit card numbers and other secure information. But clipboard information can be easily seen by anyone who can access your computer or by the websites you visit.
If you do lot of copying, cutting and pasting of information between applications it could clutter your computer and slow it down. To free up memory you should regularly clean the clipboard.
